Event Description:
Competitors will explain to the audience how to perform a particular task. They will also contextualize the task, giving background information on it as well as making the case for why audience members should take part. All of the speech must be the student's original writing.
A maximum of three visual aids may be used to accompany the speech.
Speech time should be 2-3 minutes. Note: Set-up time for visual aids is NOT counted as part of this time limit.
