Policy/LD:

- you can enter up to 9 bodies (not including your 4-0 wildcards) - policy is 2 bodies, LD is 1 body

- each debater must have one league win in JV or varsity league, this year.

- you get one exception (one LDer OR 1 policy) to this one win rule. In policy each member must have a JV/VAR win. Any entry without all members having a JV/V win counts as your one exception.

 

Judge Requirements: 1 judge per student entered.

Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase its funding and/or regulation of elementary and/or secondary education in the United States.

 

Lincoln-Douglas Debate

2018 March/April LD Topic

Resolved: The United States ought to provide a universal basic income.

Please remember that in order for us to run on time we need everyone reporting on time (or early!) and picking up and returning ballots quickly. Remind judges they can continue to write comments but they should turn in a speed ballot to help tab get the next round out.

AT ALL TIMES A CONCENTRATED EFFORT WILL BE MADE TO MOVE ROUNDS UP AND GET US OUT OF THE TOURNAMENT AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.  PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THIS WEBSITE AND ANY NOTIFICATIONS OR EMAILS YOU RECEIVE DURING THE TOURNAMENT.  WE WILL ALWAYS TRY TO MOVE ROUNDS UP.

Registration 3:30-4pm

All students and judges must be on campus no later than 3:45pm.

Round One 4:00pm

Dinner 5:30pm

SATURDAY:

All students and judges must be on campus by 7:30am
