The USA Forensics Olympiad cordially invites you to the US Championship!

This is a National tournament that is a part of the USA Forensics Olympiad(USAFO) 2023-24 Series. Each USAFO year-length cycle consists of monthly tournaments in June-March(excluding August) and a championships event in April.

Our evaluators are currently deliberating who to select for the 2024 US International Olympiad in Forensics Teams. Invitations will be sent soon!

What?

Congress, Speech: 4 prelim rounds, >= 2 elim rounds

Policy, WSD, Parli.: 5 prelim rounds, >= 3 elim rounds || PF, LD: 6 prelim rounds, >= 4 elim rounds

Who? All students aged 18 years & under. Non-School teams allowed. No location/other restrictions apply; only US residents/citizens will be considered for the 2024 US IOF Team. Competitors who have enough bids will be separated into the Gold/Silver divisions after registration.

Honors & Awards

2024 US IOF Team

Top competitors in each event will be invited to compete at the 2024 International Olympiad in Forensics. Qualifying competitors should expect to receive an invitation email 1-2 weeks after the conclusion of the tournament. Please see the invitation for more info.

Cash Prizes

• $200 IN CASH for top team in gold/silver divisions
• $100 IN CASH for top team in open division & finalists in gold/silver divisions
• $50 IN CASH for finalists in open division

Trophies/Plaques

Competitors selected for the 2024 US IOF team will be snail-mailed exclusive USA Forensics Olympiad plaques engraved with their name, the year of qualification, and their specific event.

Networking Opportunities

Photos, videos, and bios of top competitors will be posted on various social media platforms and websites, including on IOForensics.org and the USAFO's official Instagram account.
