Speech Video Submissions

The preliminary rounds of Declamation, Dramatic Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, Informative Speaking, Oral Interpretation, Original Oratory, and Program of Oral Interpretation will be conducted via the submission of taped performances for all entries. That process will be as follows:

1. Students should upload their videos to either You Tube or Loom.

2. Students will not be required to state a code word at the beginning of their videos, but all students are expected to submit an original video that has not been used in a previous tournament. Any contestant caught reusing a video from a previous tournament will be subject to disqualification, and any school who has a contestant submit such a video will risk losing eligibility for a sweepstakes award. It is the responsibility of both the student and the coach  to ensure compliance with this rule.

3. Coaches will submit the video link via the student's entry page in tabroom.com. By submitting the video link coaches are attesting to the appropriateness of the submission both in terms of form and content.

4. The deadline for submitting links in tabroom.com is Wednesday December 16th at 10 PM.

5. Students will have the option of attending each preliminary round of competition where they will have the opportunity to watch the videos of all the competitors in their round, but they will not be required to do so.
