A Bill on Plastic Bottles and Cans
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1 Plastic Bottles and Cans’ prices will increase from 20 cents to 25 cents. This
extra price will be paid back to the customer if they return the container to shops intact.
SECTION 2 This practice, or at least the same kind of practice, is already in effect in six
states, here stated: California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Iowa, Maine, Massachussetts, Michigan, New
York, Oregon, Vermont. Those states’ legislation will be modified to fit this bill.
SECTION 3 The bill first implies Plastic Bottles and Cans, to improve recycling and the
cleanliness of the streets. It can be modified in the future to adapt to possible needs of the nation
(recycling of other kinds of containers, for example).
SECTION 4 This bill will slowly take effect after its passage. The best would be in the next
six months.
SECTION 5 All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
