Lincoln-Douglas Debate

Novice LD will use the following topic.  Resolved: States ought to eliminate their nuclear arsenals.

JV and Varsity LD will use the following topic: Resolved: The United States ought to implement a single-payer universal healthcare system.

Public Forum Debate

All Public Forum divisions will use the following topic. Resolved: The United States Federal Government should substantially increase its investment in high-speed rail.

Policy Debate

All Policy divisions will use the following topic. Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase its security cooperation with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in one or more of the following areas: artificial intelligence, biotechnology, cybersecurity.

Policy Novice debaters are expected to be debating using the materials available in the Novice packet. Specifically, any novice debating at the Jamboree should be prepared to debate the Aff case with the China Advantage on the Aff and case neg and the Russia DA on the Neg.
