Meal options for Students

We are not able to staff a standard concession stand during the tournament. There are a few options:

1. There are some fast food places within walking distance from campus. However, if students are entered in both the Debate pattern and the Speech pattern, this may not work well for them

2. Coaches may try to a food delivery service such as Uber Eats or Door Dash

3. We can collect pre-orders for meals. On Friday night, we can order pizza. On Saturday night, we can order chicken strips. You should see a "Meals" tab when you log in to the tournament. We have set it up to collect orders for meal combos. Friday would be 2 slices of pizza, a bag of chips, and a bottle of water. Saturday would be 2 chicken strips, a bag of chips, and a bottle of water. Cost is $6 per person per meal.

If you use Option 3, you need to place your order in tabroom by Wednesday (3/13) at 3:00 pm. We will distribute meal vouchers on Friday for coaches to give their students who ordered. The invoice for the meals will appear on your invoice for the tournament but coaches may pay that separately on Friday. I am not concerned about when and how we collect the money. My only concern is that we know who is ordering food from the District so we can place a correct order and purchase an appropriate number of bags and bottles of water.
