Sunflower Novice Championships Information

The Sunflower Novice Championships will host 2 divisions:

Novice Novice- made up of freshmen students.

Novice Open- teams that include any sophomore, junior, or senior novices.

Schools will be allowed to enter 4 total teams across both divisions.

There is a traveling sweeps plaque that is earned by the school with the best 4 team record in prelims across both divisions.

Judging Requirement: 1-2 teams = 1 judge 3-4 teams = 2 judges. **NOTE: Judges must be adults- 3rd and 4th year debaters cannot judge at this tournament.

Rd 5 Novice State-9:45 AM

Rd 6 Novice State- 12:30 PM

QFS Novice State- 2:30 PM

Semifinals Novice State- 4:30 PM

Finals Novice State- 6:30 PM
