Additional remarks: I try to stick to a 'tabula rasa' approach to judging as much as possible. I never want to bring in any pre-conceived notions about how a case needs to be structured, how rebuttals have to be formatted, or anything like that. Taking this stance allows me to watch for the fundamentals of argumentation, which of course must be present. It's unlikely that I will disregard an argument on its face as long as the traditional claim-warrant-impact structure is present in some way. I can also keep up with a high rate of speaking speed, if necessary.
