Additional remarks: I am a volunteer judge who has enjoyed serving my district for several years. I look for good clash, delivered in a respectful manner, in debate rounds. I respect speed as long as your content is able to be understood by everybody in the round. I understand the rules and the lingo but don't want you to get caught up in or distracted by them in rounds. Instead, concentrate on the spirit of the arguments. I expect all arguments to be supported by the most recent possible verifiable evidence. My full time job is teaching foreign languages, so I make faces. Do not expect smiles or scowls to indicate the outcome of the round. Remember that, win or lose, the two most important objectives are to learn and to have fun.

Note: if you wish for your pronouns to appear the debaters you judge on text/email blasts, log into Tabroom, click Profile at top, and add them in the Pronouns field.
