Event Description:
In addition to all five journalism contests, two longtime UIL writing gurus will be on hand to conduct an instructional workshop with tips and training to be successful in UIL contests. Contest-specific sessions will be intertwined with competitions. Although it would be impossible to hear every session and compete in every contest, it will be easy for advisers to map out the day to give each journalism student a worthwhile and tailor-made experience that will build on their strengths. The cost of the workshop includes the tests as well. If you choose the workshop, you do not have to sign up for each individual test.
