Event Description:
For each division of debate, the first three rounds will be randomly assigned and run at 9, 10:15, and 11:30. Debaters will move from round to round with a brief break. Judges will disclose and provide immediate feedback. Therefore, the judges need only fill in the decision on the ballot. Following lunch, the top four in each bracket (determined by win/loss, then strength of opponent, and finally by speaker points) will compete in a two-round playoff. The times will be 1:30 and 2:45. Those who did not reach the playoffs would be paired for a fourth round at 1:30.
