UPDATE FOR THE SCHEDULE: BECAUSE OF ENTRY NUMBERS, WE HAVE REDUCED THE NUMBER OF PRELIMS FROM 6 TO 5, AND NOW THE TOURNAMENT RUNS FROM FRIDAY TO SATURDAY ONLY (6/19-6/20) because Sunday is Father's day. 

Hello and welcome to PUBLIC FORUM!!!

You can compete at any grade of HS debate (including current seniors). You can judge if you are a rising senior or older.

There will be 5 prelims for PF. It will be held on Discord, but you will have the option to use Zoom for a call if you and your opponents/partner/judge prefer it (you could open up a Zoom call once you are all already in the Discord room). Mavericks are allowed, as are hybrid-school teams. 

The topic will be the February NSDA topic. Resolved: The United States should replace means-tested welfare programs with a universal basic income.

Friday, 6/19:

Round 1: 1:30 PM

Round 2: 3 PM

Round 3: 4:30 PM

Saturday, 6/20:

Round 4: 11:30 AM

Round 5: 1 PM

Quarterfinals: 3:00 PM

Semifinals: 4:30 PM

Finals: 6:00 PM

**also because we don't know the number of entries yet we don't know how many outrounds we will end up having. This schedule is subject to change!**
