COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF ALL COMPETITORS, THE FOLLOWING PRECAUTIONS WILL BE TAKEN:

1. Overall space in the tournament will be limited.  Entries in every event will be limited.  Teams will be spaced appropriately in the common area.

2. Coaches and competitors are asked to conduct a symptom check before coming to the tournament.  NO DROP FEES WILL BE ASSESSED FOR STUDENTS WHO NEED TO DROP DUE TO MEDICAL REASONS. 

3. Seating capacity in each room has been reduced to allow for distancing.  Audiences for rounds will be limited to seating capacity in each room.  Desks will first be reserved for judges and competitors.  The tournament director reserves the right to forbid audiences completely. 

4. Hand sanitizer and tissues will be available in every room and in the common areas.  

5. MASKS MUST BE WORN WHEN SOCIAL DISTANCING IS NOT POSSIBLE.  Students will be encouraged to make use of our large outdoor campus area.   

6. MASKS MUST BE WORN BY EVERYONE.  Competitors may remove the mask when speaking.  DUO partners may elect to wear masks during their performance.  Judges will be instructed not to penalize students in ANY event who choose to wear a mask during the performance.  Students who elect to wear a mask are responsible for ensuring that they can be understood.
