Check In/Report Time:Please note that the schedule includes check in & report times. These should be followed by competitors and judges. Fines may be imposed on those who do not adhere to these requirements.

Location: The tournament will be held on Classrooms.Cloud for online/hybrid debates and on Georgetown's Campus for in-person debates. The buildings that the tournament will use on GU's campus include the Bunn Intercultural Center (ICC), Healy Hall, and White-Gravenor Hall. All three buildings are relatively close to each other. Buildings will be open at 7am each morning.

Classrooms.Cloud: Tournament platform = Classrooms.cloud. The link ishttps://ada.classrooms.cloud/.Please have all participants test their ability to login SOONER RATHER THAN LATER. Please instruct your team to test their logins (Tabroom logins) as soon as possible. If your login doesn't work on the first try, you may need to try resync/reset options a few times - and if still not working, then maybe try your original password again (not sure why - but that has worked for at least 2 tab members). There are also additional basic platform instructions on the Classrooms page - please also ask your team to review those to avoid hiccups when pairings come out.

Parking: Street parking is available near campus for free however it is restricted to two hours. If you are going to utilize street parking, your best bet is to park near the O Street Gates. Otherwise, there is a paid parking garage (Southwest Garage) on campus that is about a seven minute walk from the buildings debates will be hosted in. The garage is off of Canal street.

WiFi: Guest Wi-Fi requires email. Eduroam is also available.

Helpline: For online debates, please use the helpline ticketing system built into Classrooms.Cloud. Otherwise, you can email georgetowndebatetournament@gmail.com. Please use this email instead of backchanneling folks in the Tabroom.

Fees: Fees are $100 per person (debater/judge/observer) and payable online. Link to pay - https://cglink.me/2e6/r1949975. Please note, you must complete registration on this site and then input the correct quantity of individuals before clicking pay. Should you need to log back in for any reason, click the Forgot Password button on the front page, input the email address used to create the account to receive a link to reset your password.

Judge Obligation: All judges are obligated through the Octofinals on Saturday morning. If you are unable to meet this obligation, please email georgetowndebatetournament@gmail.com. Online judges should have their cameras ON.

Classroom Policy: It is the policy of Georgetown University to prohibit the consumption of food, beverages, and smoking materials in all university classrooms and corridors. Any activities that will potentially cause damage to the space, furniture, or equipment (i.e. stacking of furniture, dancing, etc.) are prohibited. Any sound (e.g. musical rehearsals or amplified sound ) that is audible to those in contiguous classrooms is also prohibited. All users of classrooms are expected to honor this policy.
