Hello coaches,

Executive Director Amisha Mody Mehta and staff of the NYCUDL invite you, your students, and chaperones to attend the NYCUDL’s Falling for Debate Workshop. The workshop will be held at WHEELS in Washington Heights (511 W 182nd St, New York, NY 10033).

We are incredibly excited to bring you our second annual October workshop! This workshop is only open to NYCUDL league members. Information on league membership can be found here.

We offer the following Workshop Levels:

MS PF Novice

MS PF Intermediate/Advanced

MS Parli Novice

MS Parli Intermediate/Advanced

HS PF Novice

HS PF Intermediate/Advanced

We highly recommend you prioritize giving this experience to your novice debaters. All levels are welcome!

Entry Caps:

Just like at our tournaments you are welcome to bring up to 20 students in Public Forum and 30 students in Parliamentary. Since this is a workshop you will enter students individually rather than in teams.

To enter this workshop, your school must be a member of the NYCUDL. All requirements and fees can be found at our website. We require that an adult coach or sponsor complete the paperwork and function as the primary contact for the team and the league.

Permission Slips: Once your school has registered, have your students complete the permission slip form. That link can be found here.

Upon school entry, all teams will be placed on a waitlist. In order to be removed from the waitlist, the following criteria must be met.

•Your school must be a league member with completed paperwork.
•Students must have completed permission slips.
•You must have an adult that will be present for the day of the tournament.
•Your students must be linked on tabroom.com.
