Dear Speechies and Debaters:

BHS would like to invite you to our Fall Student Congress. We hope that you will be able to attend one of the first congresses of the school year.

The tournament will start at 4 pm and we expect to wrap up by 8:30 pm. There will be two sessions for maximum speaking times with a break for dinner in between. We have vending machines for drinks and snacks, but students should bring their own dinner or money to get dinner on their own. There are several restaurants in walking distance OR Igawa can take your order for Costco Pizza.

Requirements:
We require each team to bring one judge.
The fee for a student to attend will be $5.
Please have legislation to speak on written by students from your school. Submit them to Igawa by the registration date. Igawa will put together a packet of legislation Friday afternoon for use in competition. If not enough legislation is submitted, then the NSDA legislation will be added to the packet. 


Legislation deadline is October 19, Friday. Registration deadline is October 21.

Awards:
Medals will be given to first, second and third speakers in each house.

We will have yummy snacks and lite dinner for those who come to judge.

Directions to the school can be found on Mapquest or Google Maps. Registration and Judges Lounge will be in room 110.
