Early Arrival Notice: PLEASE READ.

Transportation/Early Arrival: For any school district that is arriving at Melissa High School during our school hours (i.e., between 8:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), please read the following. Arriving early to campus will need to be communicated at least a week inadvance to arriving at Melissa High School. This is for safety and security measures and to make sure we have a location for your and your students to be at while a staff member supervises you all. This means any school that arrives between the hours above, please do the following.

First, please CC Melissa High School’s principal (Marcus Eckert). Please indicate the time that you would like to come (no issue).

Second, after talking with my principal, we will make sure that Melissa High School will accommodate early arrival. This means housing students and staff during the day insofar as schools that come early. He email is the following: marcuseckert@melissaisd.org

Third, within your email, please have an indication of what a.) school district and school that you are coming from, and b.) what time that you need to come to the high school by or at.

Fourth, school safety and security are one of the highest priorities for Melissa Independent School District. As such, high schools that do not communicate in advance that they are dropping their teams off early may be asked to leave.

Fifth, upon entering the school please contact brenden (325-656-6636) that you are here. After that, you will need to please check into the front office while Dr. Farmer escorts your students to the Fine Arts Center where they will be watched by her. Once you have checked in, you will be escorted back to the fine arts center by Brenden.

Registering for the Melissa Winter Classic means that you agree upon this to ensure the highest safety for all parties involved.
