Tournament format

There will be a single round of full debate on two bills. The chamber is encouraged to take at least a 10 minute recess between bills. In total, the tournament will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. ESTon Saturday, July 27th.

There will be no elected presiding officer. The round will be PO'd by an Equality in Forensics staff member.

The chamber will be run based on a randomly generated preset recency for speeches. Instead of continuing into the second bill, the final recency going into the second round will be REVERSED. i.e. if you gave the last speech in the first bill, you have first recency for the second bill. If you gave the sponsorship speech on the first bill, you have dead last recency on the second bill.

For questioning, the recency will simply be the reverse order of the original preset recency.
