ENTRY INFORMATION

IMPORTANT DEADLINES:

Initial Entry Deadline 9/20/24 @ 6 pm or until our facilities are full

Drop Deadline 9/24/24 @5 pm (entry fees will be set at this time)

Debate Drops on the day of the Tournament/No-Shows in Debate will be charged double drop fees!

All entries/drops/changes must be processed on this website. Name changes may be done at registration.

ENTRY LIMITATIONS:

· Entries will be accepted on a first come-first served basis until our facility is full.

· All events are automatically capped at 10 entries initially, but entries will be added from the waitlist swiftly until room limits are reached. I will try to send an update on room availability often. This is just a way to meter school entries.

Fees & Costs:

School Fee -$80
This fee is to help pay for hospitality, security, custodial staff, and trophies.

*Due to the increased cost of Tabroom per entry (went up to $1 last year), we have increased our prices by $1.

Judge Fees/Obligations*

Each School is required to put in at least 1 judge per day. Judges owed is capped at 3 per requirement.

1 Debate Judge = 4 entries: $300
1 Congress Judge = 5 entries: $300
1 Speech Judge = 5 entries: $300

**Please note that judge fees will be finalized on September 24^th.

Other Stuff &Guidelines

1. Debate Brackets will NOT be broken.
2. No Mavericks.
3. Debate will panel judges only in Semis and Finals. IE & Speech will only have panels in finals of TFA qualifying events. Congress will only panel finals.
4. The 15 minute forfeit rule is in effect. Be mindful that Tabroom does not send out text messages anymore, so it's very important that you and your students check for postings. "I didn't see postings until X 'o clock" is not sufficient. Forfeits are final.
