This is a novice tournament for SMSD schools and will be hosted at Shawnee Mission East. If space permits, we will allow teams from EKNSDA and then other schools.

No entry fees. We will be giving out ducks to teams with winning records.

Schools must provide 1 judge per 2 teams entered (round up if you have an odd number). Your judges must be available for all rounds. Judges may be adults or trusted advanced debaters.

Novices must follow the NDCA Novice packet.

There will be 5 rounds. 8:00, 9:30, 11:00, 1:00, 2:30, awards ASAP.

Since this is in addition to our invitationals, there will be no hospitality or concessions. Coaches will need to coordinate lunch for their teams.
