Contract Judge Applications

Howdy applicants,

If you are interested in applying for a contract judge position you're in the right place. Preferred judges will receive contracts first. Preferred judges are those who are available for first ballot to last ballot on both Friday and Saturday. The price of the contract is $150 per preferred judge. If there is room in the budget for amended contracts those will be awarded in the order they are received after the required documents have been submitted. Price of amended contracts will be determined on a case by case basis.

Please use the link below to complete the google form, upload your current W-9 and submit your vendor IDs. If you worked with me last year please reach out, I can get that information for you. Likewise, if anyone from AISD paid you last year they will be able to give you your vendor ID number.

Once the aforementioned tasks are complete I will be able to send you a contract to complete via email. I must have your completed contract in hand no later than 10/30 in order to have you paid.

*New this year: on the day of the tournament or immediately following you MUST invoice "Alief Early College Speech & Debate" for services rendered. ie. Judging. You may turn this in via email or hard copy. In the past we have taken this task on for judges in an effort to streamline the process however this tends to slow down the return process. Following the new process, as it is outlined here, will help us ensure you are getting paid in a timely manner.

This timeline depends largely on how quickly you can complete these tasks.
