Novice Asynch Last Chance Speech Tournament

Welcome to the novice Asynch competition. This is an opportunity for novice, first time students to record their speeches and get feedback from judges to improve their skills.
All speeches must be uploaded with live video links by December 11 (Wednesday) at 8:00 AM (CST). I plan to release rounds for judges at 10:30 AM (CST) on December 11 and round will need to be viewed, commented on, and judged by December 13 at 5:00 PM (CST).
Fee is $1 per entry to help offset the cost of using Tabroom.
Notes are allowed for all speech events. The time limit for informative and oratory is 10 minutes with 30 second grace and extemp is 7 minutes with 30 second grace. Visual aids in informativecannot be electronic.
Students can enter in as many events as they want (triple entered), but may only enter an event once.
Schools must cover judging requirements of entries (one judge for every 5 entries). If a judge fails to complete their rounds by the 5:00 PM time, the school will be fined $25 per round that was not completed. Qualified high school judges may serve as judges.
For extempers, they may choose fromONE of the following questions:

What does Donald Trump’s victory mean for the environment?
Is the use of AI more beneficial or harmful for student learning?
Why did Donald Trump win the election?
What needs to be done to bring stability to Haiti?
Should the United States pull back military support for Ukraine?
Prep time does not need to be recorded.
