2025 Grand Prairie Middle School Theatre Festival

Directors and Coaches,

We are excited to be hosting Grand Prairie High School’s Middle School Theatre Festival on January 25, 2025. The tournament will take place at Grand Prairie High School in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area. All events are open to 5th graders through 8th graders. Students in 5th grade may enter any event, however, only 5th graders are allowed to enter the 5th grade monologues. Participants MAY NOT cross-enter in more than two events per section and that is at their own risk. Please also note that a student CANNOT enter an event more than once.

Registration will be through Tabroom.com and you will need to make an account. We have instructions included in our Tournament Information Packet. Also, Google has lots of tutorial help.

We hope to make the events as student-friendly and fun as possible. Our goal is to make sure your students have a great time and continue to love theatre!

IMPORTANT NOTE: When registering group events, you will be asked to supply a "code" - this is to identify the different groups on postings. For example, if I were to enter a group for group lipsync from Cambra Middle School, I may list it as "CMS - Hard Knock Life" or "CMS - Red" or "CMS - Snickers". You will want it to be simple and clear - not to many words but easy to identify! It is best to select the event and then press "add entry" if you try to add a student to the event directly, it doesn't always let you enter a group code.
