Welcome to the 2025 ASDCA Middle School State Championship Tournament!

Important Tournament Notes:
- This tournament is for Arizona 6th- 8th-grade students.
- The Congressional Debate will have four preliminary sessions of approximately 75 minutes plus a 2.5-hour Final.
- If you did not pay your $60 ASDCA Middle School Fees at Winter Cup, they will be added to your entry.
- All events begin at 8:00 AM. Please arrive 30 minutes before rounds.
- BQ will host four preliminary rounds, with all winning records advancing to the elimination rounds.
Storytelling, Declamation, Impromptu, and Duo interpretation will have three preliminary rounds. The number of entries will determine whether the semifinals will be held in the afternoon.
- Coaches should be the ones preparing the team's entry.
-High School Juniors and Seniors with 250 NSDA points are welcome and encouraged to judge. HS Judges may receive NSDA service points. Have coaches contact the tournament director with student information to be added to the judge pool.
Entry Restrictions:
Schools are limited to six entries per event, excluding the Congressional Debate. Up to eighteen competitors may be entered in the Congressional Debate. Congress and BQ entries may not be double-entered at any other event. A competitor may double-enter in speech events only.
