Dear Coach,

You are invited to El Dorado High School’s Home Invitational Tournament on Tuesday April 15, 2025, beginning at 4:00pm. Final entries/deadline to drop add is Friday April 11, 2025.

Events: IDA, Duet Acting, Serious Solo, Humorous Solo, Prose, Poetry, Impromptu, Informative (combined Informative and Informative 10), Oration, Extemp (combined), Spoken Word Poetry, and POI. All events will follow KSHSAA rules. Students may not enter in both IDA and Extemp due to time constraints.

Fees: Fees are $6 per person, per event ($12 for Duet and IDA).

Awards: Medals will be given to the top six entries in each event. Sweepstakes awards will be given to the top three teams.

Forfeits: Performers must perform during the allotted time for the round. Failure to perform during the allotted time will result in the student receiving the bottom ranking in the room.

Cancellations: Email or text cancellations as soon as possible. Cancellations made after Monday April 14, 2025, will result in the canceling school remaining responsible for the entry fees.

Judging: Please bring a judge for every 6 entries.

3:45 pm IDA and Extemp draws begin

4:00 pm-5:30 pm Round 1

5:15 IDA and Extemp round 2 draws

5:30 pm-7:00 pm Round 2

7:00 pm IDA and Extemp final draws

7:15 pm - 8:45 pm Finals

ASAP Awards

Dinner/Concessions: Our FCCLA club will have a concession stand available, including walking tacos for $6, snacks, and drinks. El Dorado has several fast food restaurants as well.

Hospitality Lounge: We will give all coaches, judges, and drivers a voucher for a walking taco and will have a hospitality room with drinks and snacks.
