CFL Speech 2 Cupertino

We are pleased to invite you:

to the CFL League Speech 2 IE Tournament

to be held on December 3rd, 2017

at Cupertino High School

All 12 Speech Events Offered: HI / DI / DUO / TI / OI / OPP / OO / OA / EXPOS / IMP / NX / IX

Students CANNOT double enter in any events!  At that point if we are still oversubscribed we will implement the league waitlist process. In order to make sure we have enough rooms in each campus, we need to set the deadline date earlier. Please enter your students and judges as soon as possible, and no later than Wednesday, November 22 at 6:00pm!

Please provide one ADULT judge for every four entries. This judge quota applies to all rounds, regardless of how many entries advance to semi-finals or finals. Thus, a school with five entries must provide two ADULT judges for all four rounds.

AM Judges - 7:15am - 1:00pm

  PM Judges - 12:20pm - 7:00pm 

Registration:

7:00 – 7:15 a.m. PLEASE NOTE-IF YOU ARRIVE AFTER 7:15a.m. YOUR ENTRIES WILL BE DROPPED, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Judges' Instructions:

7:30 a.m.

Round 1 begins

8:00 a.m.

Round 2 begins

10:00 a.m. (each campus will run rounds ASAP, follow instructions given in each judge room for most accurate report times)

Lunch service

12:00 – 2:00 p.m.

Round 3 begins

12:30 p.m. (PM Judging instructions start at 12:20pm)

Semi-Finals begin

3:30 p.m.

Awards

6:30 p.m.

Entry Procedure

Registration should be completed via Tabroom.

The registration deadline is 6:00pm on Wednesday November 22, 2017
Please carefully review our bylaws for eligibility of students:

A. Students participating in CFL tournaments shall meet the academic requirements for co-curricular participation established by their schools and/or school districts. Students must be enrolled in the school they represent.

Fees

$10.00 per single entry and $20.00 per duo team

Invoices are directly available online on the tabroom account used to register entries.

Drops after the drop deadline will be assessed a fee of $50 per entry. 

Additions after the drop deadline will be assessed a late fee of $60.

 

Awards

Awards will be given to all finalists in all events.
