Honour Robinson (He/They)
I am a current 2-year debater at Manhattan Highschool.
Prefers: I am a policy maker and prefer accurate, up-to date cards. I vote for whoever has the best outcome/scenario. I have trouble hearing so being louder is needed, I flow (and hope you do too) so I can understand CLEAR/COHERENT spreading.
I recommend an off-time roadmap, sign posting, and having a speech drop to follow in round. It's amazing to be flowing during round, helps you and me if it's a high-speed debate round.
Topicality: Unless you have an extremely valid reason why you should win on topicality, I won't be voting for you. It's hard to win on topicality because of how vague the resolution can stretch to be, don't waste your time by trying to stretch it even farther with running topicality.
DisAds: Make sure you clearly have your UQ, Link, Imp, ect. In my own opinions DAs are going to be the strongest in any debate, but pairing one with a good CP is very likely to win me over.
Counterplan: My love, I truly love counterplans. They are like cheating in the best way. I think that it's easy to do a counterplan incorrectly, but when you do it correctly, they work wonderfully. I honestly prefer a counterplan whenever it fits.
Kritiks: I do not like kritiks, i would recommend not to run them.
I do not listen to any unneeded arguments, anything that hurts any community or misrepresents individuals. Homophobic/Racist/Sexist/Ableist ideology will immediately be voted down.
If you are rude or mean in the round, you have immediately lost. I take negative out-of-round comments about teams as well. Just be nice, it's not that hard.
