Hi,
As a new parent judge, my approach to evaluating debates revolves around clarity and evidence-based arguments. I kindly request that debaters prioritize clear communication over rapid spreading, avoid excessive jargon, and maintain professionalism throughout the round. Please be respectful and do not use offensive language.
While I may not be intimately familiar with the topic, I appreciate well-researched arguments, but I may prioritize technical execution over the ultimate "truth" of a claim. It's crucial to actively engage with your opponent's arguments, as I prefer to see both teams clashing on the issues, making the debate more informative and interesting. I would also like to be provided with an off-time roadmap, as it would be easier for me to flow and understand your arguments.
Counterplans are welcome but should be specific and solvable. Precise disadvantages with clear impacts are more persuasive. Additionally, adding a touch of humor to your speeches can make the debate more engaging and potentially earn you extra speaker points. In summary, focus on making your arguments accessible, respectful, evidence-based, and engaging to maximize your chances of winning my ballot.

Thanks for your hard work. Good Luck!
