LD Debate Rules
Resolved: Resolved: The United States ought to guarantee the right to housing
*Maximum Speaker Points: 30
*Minimum Speaker Points: 26
*Debaters will not receive a verbal “Reason for Decision.” All judges will be instructed to put their RDFs and comments on the ballots.
*Each debater will have one round as Affirmative and one round as Negative. Tabroom will randomly determine the last round’s side.
*Each debater should prepare both an Affirmative and Negative case. No counterplans will be allowed. Debaters with counterplans will automatically receive a loss for the round.
*Each Speaker will have 4 minutes of total preparation time during the debate.
