Event Description:
- Oral Interpretation of Literature has both Prose and Poetry submissions (similar to the UKTOC).
- Prose and Poetry events have different times in different states. To accommodate all our entries from different states, this event has a 10 time limit and a 30-second grace period. If a student’s speech goes beyond 10:30, that student cannot be ranked the best in the round. It has no minimum time limit or penalty.
- You may not comment on students' appearance, outfits, or technical setup (horizontal vs. landscape videos, video quality, etc.). These are factors often out of students' control.
