Event Description:
A high school student is eligible for Novice PF if they are in the 10th grade or younger and this is their first-ever season of Speech and Debate competition (in any event, at any level). The tournament's policy is designed to protect first-year debaters getting started in the activity.
Coaches should contact the tournament about any individual students who might not fit the letter of this definition but you feel belong in the Novice division. Any entries at any point found to be in violation of these rules will be disqualified immediately at the discretion of the Tournament Director.
