Event Description:

For each round, students will select one of three questions on current national and international events. The contestant will have thirty minutes to prepare a speech on the topic selected. Notes are permissible but may reflect in judges score. Maximum 7 minutes with a 30 second grace period.

Although we will NOT supply computers for student use, students are permitted to bring laptops, iPads, tablets, etc for their own use. Internet connectivity is available and permitted in round.

NOTE: The Dallastown campus has an open-access Wi-Fi network that is generally reliable - however, students are cautioned that any problems with connectivity will NOT be a reason to postpone/delay a round.
