Event Description:

We will follow the Texas Forensic Association (TFA) rules for Congressional Debate.

The docket will consist of the following items from the Texas Forensic Association Spring 2021 docket:

Prelims: 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13

Finals: 16, 18, 21, 23, 26, 30

In accordance with TFA rules, ...

  • Time for debate per legislation item should last no more than one-third of a session’s floor time. If action has not been taken on the legislation by that time, an immediate vote shall be taken.

  • Students cannot suspend the rules to extend questioning.
