WELCOME TO THE 2018 COMEAUX CLASSIC!

Dear Coaches and Students,

On behalf of the Faculty, Administration and Speech Team at Comeaux High I would like to invite you and your team to the 35th Annual Comeaux Classic on November 30th and December 1st!

The tournament will run the the events P.O.I., Oratory, Declamation, Jr/Sr Impromptu, Jr/Sr Extemp, Jr/Sr Oral Interp, Jr/Sr Humorous, Jr/Sr Dramatic, Jr/Sr Duet, Jr Duo Reading and Sr Duo Interp. We will also be running Congress.

Registration will take place in room 54 from 1:15 to 2pm.  Our buses arrive and block the parking lot starting at 2, so I recommend arriving before 2 pm.  Upon arrival, you will park in the parking lot closest to the Cafeteria. All students must STAY in the Cafeteria until the assembly is over.

In debate events that are large enough, we will be power matching in Round 3 and Round 4. 

In Individual Events and Duet/Duo, events with at least 18 entries will have a semi-final round.  

In speech events, ranks will be cumulative THROUGH Finals. 

In the event of Oral Interpretation, Prose will go first, which will put poetry in Finals.
