You MUST confirm your entries via online registration sometime between 8 am and 8 pm CST on Thursday Oct. 20. If you don't do this your students will not appear on pairings for the first round.

WSD, and the JV and novice divisions of CX and LD will be online. NCX and NLD/JVLD will be 4 prelims, 2 elims with debates on just Saturday and Sunday. All other divisions will start competition on Friday morning October 21 at 10 am central time, pairings no later than 9:30 am.

VCX and VLD will be hybrid meaning tournament participants can choose to debate in person or online. If one team is online the debate will be online although in person participants will be provided with a room on the St. Mark's campus or at the tournament hotel to debate from.

Public Forum will have one division hosted in person on the campus of St. Mark's and will use the same schedule as VCX pending entry numbers.

If your judges or your entries will be online make sure to check the little box that says "judge will judge online" or "Entry will compete online"

The tournament hotel will be the Marriott Quorum in Addison, TX. The tournament rates is $99 per night. Make reservations by calling (800) 228-9290 or Book your group rate for Heart of Texas Invitational no later than the Cutoff Date, Sept. 28, 2022. Guests making such reservations must identify themselves as members of Group, with Heart of Texas Invitational Oct. 2022. The booking link is currently not active but should be soon.
