2024 — Online, MI/US

12th Annual Luck of the Irish Invitational
Saturday, March 9, 2024 (starting 3/1)
Online - (Asynchronous and Live)

Middle school and high school participants in any location are welcome to participate in either the asynchronous or synchronous events at this tournament, or both. Double entries are permitted in Impromptu and another Synchronous event. Multiple entries are permitted in all other categories.

Synchronous Events: Impromptu Speaking (AM); Extemporaneous Speaking (AM); Broadcasting (AM); and Big Questions Debate (PM)

Asynchronous Events: Declamation (MS-10th only); Dramatic Interpretation; Duo Interpretation; Informative Speaking; Multiple Interpretation; Original Oratory; Poetry Interpretation; Prose Interpretation; Sales Speaking; Storytelling; and our Signature event -- “A Bit of Blarney” -- a humorous storytelling category.

Notre Dame Preparatory is thankful to partner with Eastern Michigan University Teacher Education Program for the third year.

Seasoned competitors should consider capturing their best performances of the year on video and enter them in this tournament to rank the best of the best.

Registered judges should expect to complete asynchronous rounds in a timely fashion from 3/1 to 3/8. Yes, this means that judges have a flexible timeframe for completing their work. Who could ask for more! Of course, synchronous judges on Saturday, 3/9, must follow the assigned schedule and submit results expeditiously.

May the luck of the Irish be with you!

Like the warmth of the sun

And the light of the day,

May the luck of the Irish

Shine bright on your way.
