Richard King High School Speech & Debate invites you to our annual

RICHARD KING HIGH SCHOOL TFA & NIETOC TOURNAMENT

"A Christmas Speech & Debate Spectacular"

The tournament will take place IN-PERSON on Saturday, December 16th at Richard King HS in Corpus Christi, TX. This will be a ONE DAY tournament. In the spirit of Christmas and sharing we will be hosting a Toy Drive once again this year! We hope to have as many attendees participate to help us spread kindness and Christmas cheer to those in need. Please bring new and unwrapped toys for kids ages 3 months- 10 years old.

Tournament Info:

Section A: Domestic Extemp, Foreign Extemp, Novice Extemp, Duet Acting, Poetry, Novice Poetry

Section B: Program Oral Interpretation, Duo Interpretation, Original Oratory, Dramatic Interpretation

Section C: Humorous Interpretation, Informative Speaking, Prose, & Novice Prose

Debate: LD Debate, Congressional Debate

LD will use the November/December topics.

Congress will use the FALL TFA Docket with the following legislation. The order is set and cannot be changed.

Prelims/Session 1 will be 19, 16, 12, 14, 17

Finals/Session 2 will be 29, 21, 22, 25, 27

*Students may only enter one debate and one type of Extemp. Students can enter any number of interp events at their own risk.*

Deadlines, fees & all other information has been uploaded to our tournament site; please peruse our tournament site for any information you might need.

Your school must have an adult sponsor/judge to be available at all times for all tournament times/rounds to judge and provide support for the tournament if/when needed.
