Neenah Congress Tournament

2024 — Neenah, WI/US

The Neenah Speech & Debate Team invites you to the Neenah Congress Tournament on Friday, March 8, 2024.

We are very excited to host a congress tournament in partnership with our forensics tournament. We encourage schools to come and participate in both tournaments and enjoy all that the fox valley has to offer. We are allowing for triple entries this year!

ENTRIES: Teams may bring as many students as they would like to attend congress. This is a great opportunity for a warm-up leading up to state.

RULES: NSDA rules will apply. There aren't really any big differences from WFCA rules, but they are slightly clearer on questioning and timing rules.

JUDGES: Please provide one qualified and technology-capable judge for every eight entries or fraction thereof. If you are short on judges, you may hire one of our independent extra judges at a rate of $150/judge. You must provide the number of judges you indicate on your original entry. Make sure your judges can handle online judging.

LEGISLATION: We will be allowing up to 3 pieces of legislation per school. We will go through the submissions and limit the bills down to at most 6 in the packet, and do our best to represent every school in the docket.

PARLIAMENTARIANS: Please mark them as such in Tabroom. Keep in mind to be a qualified parli you should be well versed in Robert’s Rules of order, comfortable with the rules and requirements in student congress, AND willing to interrupt a P.O. should something be incorrect.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Wednesday, March 6 at 5pm

FEES: $5 per individual entry.
