Welcome to the United States IE Qualifier!

We are pleased to announce that we will host an automatic qualifier to the United States Championship Tournament. All top individuals/teams will have a full bid to qualify towards the national tournament. Individual Events will be first and we will offer debate events later.

For this tournament, we will be offering Duo Interpretation (DUO), General Interpretation (INTP), Impromptu (IMP), Original Oratory (OO) and Program Oral Interpretation (POI). Each individual is allowed to enter in at least two (2) events to make scheduling and opportunities for all teams and competitors.

Break Information:

DUO - We will be qualifying four (4) teams

IMP - We will be qualifying five (5) competitors

INTP - We will be qualifying five (5) competitors

OO - We will be qualifying four (4) competitors

POI - We will be qualifying three (3) competitors

If an individual breaks and qualifies in two events, you must choose one event only. Therefore, if that individual will choose that other event, the spot will open up to the competitor that is next in the ranking (e.g., if an individual qualified in both INTP and OO and they choose OO, the 6th place competitor from INTP will be chosen, so on and so forth).

Entries are free if we have fifty (50) entries or under. A $5 fee will be imposed if we surpass this limit.
