Extemp Prep Live Doc and Topic Areas

Prep will start promptly 30 minutes prior to the start of each scheduled round. Topics will be posted on the above Google Doc. Students may prep anywhere on campus and may use the Internet. They may not Prep with a partner or with a coach.

Both Novice and Open shall use the same questions!

Double entered students in Extemp should prioritize their Prep. They shall not be given extra prep if they are unable to draw on time. Rounds will not be rerun.

Topic Areas for each Round are as follows:

Round 1: International and Domestic Economics

Round 2: US Politics

Round 3: Asia

Round 4: Social Issues

Semifinals: International Affairs

Finals: Europe
