Citron Online is one of the premier online tournament series catering to students who want to compete online during the week. We hold multiple tournaments throughout the year. Tournaments feature different events to allow students to compete in different events.

The following events will be supported in this tournament:

- Extemp Debate

- US Extemp

- Radio

- WSD (1 Extemp Round)

The Rules for each event are found below:

Extemp Debate:

- Topic announced 1 hour before tournament.

- 4 rounds of debate on the half hour, with R3/R4 Power Matched.

- Follows times and rules of NSDA Extemp Debate.

US Extemp

- 2 Rounds

- Students will arrive at 6pm EST to the Prep Room for Extemp Debate.

- Proctor will assign topics and provide students with 30 minutes of prep time prior to the round.

- All NSDA rules on US Extemp will be followed.

Radio:

- 2 Rounds

- Prepare a 5 minute Radio Broadcast which will be performed LIVE with cameras turned off. (Big penalty if broadcast is 5 seconds more or less than 5 minutes).

- Broadcast must include each of the categories below with news items being CURRENT to past 48 hours:

* Intro with call letters

* International News

* National News

* Local / Regional News (appropriate to students physical location)

* Sports

* Commercial

* Weather

* Feature (optional)

* Traffic (optional)

* Outro

WSD (One Round - Extemp Motion):

- Motion will be released at 6:30pm EST.

- Round will start at 7:30pm EST.

- Students may register up to 5 competitors on the team, but as per WSD rules only 3 may compete at one time. Others may observe and support their team for research.

- Students should NOT use any electronic devices for preparation, this will be on a honors system.

- Scoring will be done on a per speaker basis with no low point win allowed.
