Hi Colleagues!

We are excited to welcome your first year debaters in public forum, policy debate and extemporaneous speaking to the final Marist scrimmage of the year.

Divisions Offered

-- JV policy division
-- GFCA packet novice policy division (uses the novice packetwhich can be downloaded here.)
-- novice public forum division (NOVEMBER TOPIC!)
-- middle school public forum division (NOVEMBER TOPIC!)
-- novice extemporaneous speaking with live draw

Costs & Platform

There is no cost for you!Entry is completely free as long as you provide one judge for every two teams or fraction thereof.

The event will be hosted through aZoom Room Management Systemwhere the zoom link will be provided to coaches and competitors the day of the competition. We recommend each competitor have the most updated zoom software in order for them to place themselves into breakout rooms.

Schedule

4:00pm EST -- Round 1 of Policy Divisions (Pairings will be blasted at 3:45pm EST, students and judges should be in zoom rooms by 3:50pm)
4:05pm EST -- Extemp Draw begins in Zoom Breakout Room
4:30pm EST -- Round 1 of Public Forum Divisions (Pairings will be blasted at 3:45pm EST, with flips at 4:15pm, students and judges should be in zoom rooms by 4:25pm)
4:35pm EST -- Extemp Round 1
