Entry Fees:$10 per event, $20 per partner event

Please make checks payable to LCHS Speech & Debate Booster Club.

Please do not arrive on campus earlier than 3:50pm on Friday.

Judging Obligation: Each school is required to provide 1 judge per every 4 debate entries and 1 judge per every 4 speech entries.

*LCHS students will compete and receive awards.

No double entry in Extemp and Policy. Otherwise double entry is permitted.

This tournament will use the January topic for PF and January/February topics for LD

Public Forum - Resolved: The African Union should grant diplomatic recognition to the Republic of Somaliland as an independent state.

Lincoln Douglas- Resolved: The United States ought to become party to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea and/or the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.

Policy - Resolved: The United States federal government should significantly strengthen its protection of domestic intellectual property rights in copyrights, patents, and/or trademarks.

This tournament will use the rules/guidelines/norms established by the NMSDA Unified manual.
