To the 40th annual speech & debate tournament hosted at Mount Mercy Academy in Buffalo New York. This year marks the first tournament since the passing of long time coach Catherine Luhr, and in honor of all that she did for the speech and debate program, we've officially renamed the tournament to honor her.

We are offering blank for speech, and 3 levels (Novice, Intermediate, Open) in Lincoln Douglas and Public Forum Debate. We will be holding a final round in speech, and a final round in debate.

Speech will pull the top 3 competitors from each event and run a final round to determine placing. Debate will offer a final based on entry numbers in that division, where the 1st place debater in prelims will face the 2nd place debater and the 3rd vs the 4th. All final rounds will be open to observers.

Round 3 - 11:30 AM

Final Round - 1:00 PM

We are offering trophies for the top 3 students in each event, as well as sweepstakes trophies for the top 3 schools. We will also offer top speaker awards in both speech and debate.
