The Wild West Invitational tournament will take place on Friday, November 3rd and Saturday, November 4th. We will have trophies for finalists  in High School,  Junior High divisions will receive medals and certificates,  and sweepstakes trophies will be presented in all divisions.

Deadline for entries will be FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27TH  by 4:00 p.m. After this time, drops and adds will need to be emailed directly to Rachel Mauchline at rachelmauchline@gmail.com and you will be charged a drop/add fee. There will be a $10 fee for every add or drop to your entries/judges after this date.

REMINDER: 1 Judge Per 10 IE Entries. 1 Judge Per 10 JH Debate Entries. 1 Judge Per 4 HS Debate Entries. 1 Judge Per 10 Congress Entries. There will be $10 fee for every judge you fail to provide.  Judges are ALWAYS a problem, so we will be grateful for any “extra” judges you can bring! Entries may be limited for schools that do not provide the required number of judges.  Please state any times your judges are unavailable on Tabroom with your registration. If your judge’s time commitment changes, please contact rachelmauchline@gmail.com

Students may enter multiple events in a given round, but double entry policies must be followed, and rounds will not be held late to accommodate students with multiple entries.  Students may only enter one debate event, and policy debate students will not be able to compete in Pattern A individual events.  High School students in other styles of debate will be able to enter both Pattern A and B events, with the understanding that if they miss those rounds, refunds will not be granted.  JH Big Questions students will be unable to compete in extemp and big questions, but may enter other Pattern A and B events.

New this year:  We will be using Tabroom for registration and tabulation purposes! Tabroom will have public access to tournament related documents, pairings, and results for the tournament. In order to register, go to www.tabroom.com and click either “login” if you have utilized this website before or “signup” if you have never previously used this site. You may either sign up with a separate account or use your NSDA login to create an account. The attached link will give step by step instructions for setting up Tabroom prior to registering: http://docs.tabroom.com/Registration The Wild West Invitational Tournament will be located at http://bwhswildwest.tabroom.com Simply click on “Registration” and you should be able to follow the steps to completing tournament registration. If you have any questions or concerns about Tabroom, please contact rachelmauchline@gmail.com

Our schedule does not allow for a break, so we provide a great concession stand!  We ask that you please help support our program by eating from the concession stand we provide rather than bringing outside food into our buildings.  Please inform your students AND parents of this request.  Please arrive at our campus for registration between 2:45pm and 3:30pm. You will need to enter  through the main school driveway off of Gamble Rd. and continue straight to student parking.  Students and sign will be there to direct you where unload.  Our school releases at 3:55pm. We have bus drivers who have  to evacuate our campus around 4:00pm  taking our 2,000 students home.  Registration in the Performing Arts Center Lobby will be between 2:45pm and 3:30pm.  Registration will open again on Saturday morning for those paying congress fees at 7:30am.  Traffic can be a headache, so please allow enough time to arrive on campus in time for your first events, which will begin promptly at 4:15pm.

Please review the new TOC Qualifying tournament guidelines for the 2017-2018 school year at www.ACTAA.net. Please also keep in mind that Bentonville Public Schools will not grant Wi-Fi access to guests.  The attached schedule is tentative.

Thanks,
