Dear Participants at SACFL #3 at Jacksonville’s Duval Charter School-Baymeadows:

The St. Augustine Catholic Forensic League and this year’s host, Duval Charter School at Baymeadows are pleased to welcome your participation at our first 2017 event in the State of Florida due to September’s weather events. There will be Varsity and Middle School completion in our traditional events, exhibition competition in Worlds & Big Questions debate, and a few rounds of a new wildcard event sponsored by Duval Charter School, Radio Broadcast.

Events: Public Forum, Policy, Worlds, Big Questions, Lincoln-Douglas, and Congressional Debate. Also, Dramatic Performance, Duo Interpretation of Literature, Oral Interpretation of Literature, Extemporaneous Speaking, Impromptu Speaking, Original Oratory, Oratorical Declamation, Informative Speaking, and Radio Broadcast. Middle School Only events are Just Talk, Daily Show, Reader’s Theater (troupes of 3-5 players, 10 mins max), and the Top Five non-advancing Middle School Speaker in the Open Division of Impromptu Speaking with advance to their own Middle School Finals.

Dates & Times: The Tournament is one day, Saturday, November 4th, 2017. Registration is 7:45-8:30am. Extemp Draw begins at 8:00am. Judge Orientation begins at 8:15am. Rd 1 will start as close to 8:30am as we can make it.
