Congress Info/Legislation

For Congressional Debate, we'll be following a 2 preliminary round, 1 final round format (if over 18 entries). If under 18 entries, we'll follow a 2 round chamber with seeded results.Each round will last 2.5 hours, but we're lenient on exact running time for speech equity: we're a chill yet efficient tournament!

Items will be directly from the TFA 2023 Fall docket (attached in tournament postings) in order to get you some great practice in preparation for the season! If you aren't from the TFA circuit, worry not! We've selected legislation we find to be great for debate, meaning that you'll get the best pre-season debate experience possible, while also giving you a shot at the $150 CD prize pool.
