Sophomore Throw-Down Details

The Sophomore Throw-Down

The Throw-Down is a round-robin style event for sophomore debaters. Historically, many of our Throw-Down entries have gone on to active and successful careers at the highest level of national debate. The event is intended to give younger debaters an opportunity to get to know their peers and to compete in a collegial and challenging environment.

The Throw-Down takes place on the Friday before the Mid America Cup. This year, that date is Friday, September 22.

Nominating Process
