Varsity Extemp Questions for Green Valley

Novice Extemp Questions:

1. Will Hurricane Helene result in more US legislation on climate change?

2. Should South Korea develop nuclear weapons?

3. What would happen if the United States went into a government shutdown?

Varsity Extemp Questions:

1. Should Georgia get rid of their new policy requiring ballots to be hand-counted?

2. Should the United States pursue another attempt at maintaining influence in the Sahel region?

3. Can the international community end the war in Sudan?

This will run as a normal extemp round with each competitor operating under the honor system.

Each competitor will choose one of the three questions. 30 minutes to prepare a 5 to 7 minute speech. This one video will serve as the competitor's only speech for the entire tournament.
